How you can support
Your support helps bring our mission to life. Every contribution, whether large or small, plays a meaningful role in strengthening the work we do and the communities we serve. By getting involved, you become part of a collective effort to create positive, lasting change. There are many pathways to support, each offering a unique opportunity to make an impact. Whether you choose to give your time, collaborate through your organisation, or share your professional expertise, your involvement helps us grow, evolve and reach more people.
Here are some of the ways you can make a difference:
Volunteering
Community Support
We believe strong communities are built through connection, compassion, and collaboration. Our community support initiatives focus on empowering local people, providing practical help where it’s needed most, and creating opportunities for everyone to thrive. By working closely with local partners, volunteers, and organisations, we aim to make a meaningful and lasting difference, supporting wellbeing, encouraging engagement, and fostering a sense of belonging for all.
Skills-Based Volunteering
Skill‑based volunteering empowers individuals to use their professional expertise to create meaningful impact where it’s needed most. By applying specialist knowledge, whether in creative, technical, strategic, or operational areas, volunteers help organisations strengthen their capacity and overcome challenges. This approach not only delivers high‑value support to communities, but also offers volunteers the opportunity to develop their own skills, gain fresh perspectives, and build purposeful connections.
Group Volunteering
Group volunteering brings people together to create meaningful impact through shared action. By working as a team, volunteers can take on larger projects, strengthen community connections, and enjoy the motivation that comes from doing good alongside others. Whether it’s a corporate team, a community group, or friends joining forces, group volunteering builds collaboration, boosts morale, and creates memorable experiences that benefit both the volunteers and the communities they support.
Corporate Partnerships
There are lots ways that businesses and companies can support us at Swings & Smiles, from one-off and short-term support to longer term partnerships.
You could support us through fundraising or volunteering. Previous support has ranged from putting on a one off sports event to hosting a number of work-based fundraising events throughout the year. By supporting Swings & Smiles in this way, not only will you be giving back to the local community but it's a fantastic way to boost employee engagement and staff morale too. We also welcome groups of volunteers of all sizes for CSR days. If you'd like to find out more about corporate giving then please contact office@swingsandsmiles.co.uk. If you're interested in volunteering, simply fill out this form and we'll get back to you.
