Fundraising Ideas

Want to raise some money for a good cause but not sure how? We’ve come up with a handy list of ideas, but there are endless other ways to get involved if you're feeling creative.

Fundraising for Swings & Smiles can be taken on by individuals, groups and corporates and we're always open to new ideas. To find out more get in touch with office@swingsandsmiles.co.uk

Get Fit

Taking part in a fitness challenge is a great way to raise money. Running, walking and cycling races are always popular, but people have also held power lifting competitions at work and trekked the incredible Inca Trail in Peru to raise funds.

Give Something Up

If you fancy giving up pints/chocolate/online shopping for a month then pop the ££s you’d have spent on treats in a pot and we’ll be happy to take them off your hands!

Donations Instead of Gifts

If you're getting married and aren't asking for gifts, you could ask your guests to donate to Swings & Smiles instead.

Collection Tins

Do you know a friendly local shop/pub/café who would be happy to have one of our collection tins at the till? We'd love more places to display one of our tins to help spread the word about Swings & Smiles and bring in some extra pennies.

Cake Sales

Who doesn't love a slice of cake? Cake sales always go down a storm at schools/offices/fetes and are a fantastic way for some of our younger supporters to get involved. You could even turn it into a Bake Off if you're feeling more competitive!

Dress Down Days

Dress down days/Christmas jumper days/fancy dress days are a great way for corporates to raise some money all while having a bit of fun at work. You could even combine this with a cake sale for double the fun and double the fundraising.

Challenge Events

Fancy a challenge while raising some money for a good cause? We're always keen to support our supporters in taking on challenge events - if you're interested in taking part in an event that isn't listed here just get in touch with office@swingsandsmiles.co.uk
