Thank you to all who organised, ran and supported the Newbury 10k 

Around a 1000 people braved 25 degree heat to accomplish this year's Newbury, from which Swings & Smiles are honoured to be the main charity to benefit. This much-loved local event lived up to it's reputation as the perfect opportunity to challenge both runners and spectators on the day with the heat, enabled all to enjoy a fantastic community atmosphere, and all whilst making a meaningful difference.

We were also very lucky to have the support of local businesses fundraising for us on the day too - The West Berkshire Injury Clinic, Milk & Bean and Crazydayzdonuts.

 

By taking part, you’re helping us provide inclusive play, respite opportunities, sibling support, and outreach services for children and young people with disabilities and their families. Your run will have a direct and lasting impact.

Whether you’re a seasoned runner or were tackling your very first 10k, we’re so impressed you took on the challenge and so happy you joined us on the day.
 

We'll soon find out what we managed to raise for Swings & Smiles to support our vital work and will share that total with huge appreciation.
