Mary is well respected locally having been a Justice of the Peace for 30 years, a Church Warden, on the committee of the Newbury Spring Festival since its inception and Deputy Lieutenant of Berkshire.

Her main hobby is gardening. She is passionate about Swings & Smiles and understands why it’s so important as her late grandson, Ivan, was born profoundly disabled.
