We are saddened to have to say that so close to Christmas we have had electrical cables stolen from the Swings & Smiles Car Park. On the evening of 21^st December - following a busy day of providing essential respite to disabled children, allowing their families to have a rest during this hectic time of year – cables that were being laid in the car park were pulled out of the ground and taken.

The work currently being carried out in the car park is to place low level lighting in the form of bollards to provide light in the car park to make it safe for families and staff, to be able to access the centre during the darker months. With only a couple of days till Christmas we are truly shocked that someone would target a charity who have had to fundraise to make this lighting possible.
