Swings & Smiles will be a comprehensive recreational facility in West Berkshire for all families who have special needs children, so that these families can play together without the difficulities experienced in wider community settings.

There will be a range of provision for play with appropriate equipment and toys, and opportunities for new experiences. The design of the building will take into account access and handling requirements, and the sensory needs of all users.

The building will include the following rooms: Sensory, Soft play, Arts & Crafts, IT and Quiet, as well as a Café and suitable facilities for all toileting needs.

The playground will have specialist play equipment and many spaces linking to different play experiences.
