A diverse group of committed individuals are behind Swings & Smiles. At the heart is founder Sian Cook together with fellow parent and trustee Susan Langley.

Their fellow trustees are Sue Roberts, professional events organiser; Helen Waring, graphic designer; and Mike Reynolds whose background is in marketing communications and sports administration. Graham Page, The Castle School's Bursar, is Company Secretary.

The Trustees are backed by the Patrons, led by Founder Patron, Clare Balding. The other Patrons include: Mary Cameron, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire, Graeme Murty, Captain of Reading Football Club and Newbury businessman, Peter Baker
